ROCKTORIA IS COMING !!!

The Royal City Music Project in conjunction with 100.3 The Q FM, will be archiving the entire Rocktoria series. This 15 year library of Victoria talent will be become part of the rcmpsite & livevictoria database helping to close the 15 year gap of information between 1986 and 2000.

Our thanks to "The Q's" program director John Shields and music director Scott James for allowing us to take this project on!

DRIVE IN MOVIE THEATRE

For one night only, Saturday, August 16, 2008 there will be an outdoor theatre set up at South Shawnigan Lake called the "Lake Oasis Drive In". That's right folks, jump in your car, drive up the Malahat to the South Shawnigan turnoff and follow the signs to enjoy an afternoon and evening that includes a show & shine, live music, concession by the Beacon Drive In and three movies with authentic commercials in between (nothing like dancing ice crean bars and a hot dog jumping into the bun!). The audio will be transmitted through your am/fm radio so no speaker boxes will be hanging off your window. Mark it on your calendar and step back in time with us for an experience you can't get anywhere else on Vancouver Island this summer.
